I have had my eye on this deck for some time and finally picked up a copy, and am very pleased with the purchase.  The deck is fully pictured and appears to be entirely original in its artwork.  The cards are printed on nice durable stock that seems like it would stand up well to use.  The deck includes a booklet with original interpretations of each card, both upright and reversed, with well-written prose alongside each, telling the story or describing the image on each card.

As the rest of my decks have been temporarily mislaid, this deck will be both my gaming deck and my divination deck for a while.

I have not come across too many decks that would be equally suited to divination or gameplay, but this is one. The artwork is bright, cheerful, and amusing. Each card, including the pips, has its own illustration and a word to go along with it. In that way, it would be great to use for divination. The reason I say it would be good to use for gameplay as well is that all of the cards, including the pips, are reversible, and the cards seem extremely durable to me. I am thrilled with this deck. Personally, I intend to use this one for gameplay, because I think it will be certain to impress my guests. If I spoke Italian or if the included documentation had been in English, I might be more inclined to use it for cartomancy.

Morgan-Greer Tarot

This has long been one of my favorite decks. Heavily influenced by the Rider Waite Smith deck, the Morgan-Greer Tarot features vibrant, rich illustrations in natural looking palettes, with a sort of hippie-ish, art nouveau, stained glass kind of feel to the artwork. I realize not everyone likes this deck, but it remains a trusty sidekick to me. I find the symbolism in the artwork friendly and easy to read, which makes it the ideal deck for everyday use, for me. I own two; one that is precious to me for its memories, and a new one that I use for reference and to play around with when I'm trying to figure things out.

I'm new to tarot gaming, so I only knew a couple of things to look for in a good gaming Tarot deck, but I think I've found a style I like. This deck features reversible images for each of the court cards and the trumps, so that you don't have to turn your cards around while you are playing, which could lead to your opponent learning about your hand. This deck has been well designed to be easily legible, and seems quite functional. Unlike some other gaming decks I have seen, it is easy to tell the pages from the knights. The artwork is simple but attractive, with bold lines and a bright primary color scheme. The cards themselves are fully coated and quite sturdy, entirely appropriate for everyday use in gameplay. Despite these relatively modern features, the deck still has a great deal of old world charm.

Although designed for divination, in my opinion this deck would be more suited to use in gameplay because the pip cards have simple numerals and icons rather than mnemonic drawings or labels. In addition, each of the pip cards bears reversible indices, which would make gameplay easier. I adore the artwork on these cards, which is a sort of psychadelic, iconographic, neo-pagan, Yellow Submarine kind of feel. I think they would be very fun to play with.
