Loren Lundgren
Loren Lundgren is a witch, a mother, and a programmer who lives in Denver, Colorado. They have a bachelor's degree in Religious Studies from the University of New Mexico.
With the linguistic and editing help of their husband, Chad Lundgren, they created a book called "A Concise Guide to the Tarot: In Vivid Color". It features the Rider-Waite-Smith Tarot and the meanings from "The Pictorial Key to the Tarot", the original organization of which was difficult to use because the meanings were scattered in different places in the book, and the original wording contained lots of now archaic language. Loren digitally recolored the cards in a more colorful style than the original. They reorganized meanings ascribed to the cards by Arthur Edward Waite and rewrote them to use modern language.
Loren Lundgren is the author and programmer of the Queen of Tarot website, which covers the history of tarot cards and uses of tarot cards. It also offers tarot flash cards, tarot deck reviews and free tarot readings.
They are also the programmer of a number of open-source Ruby Gems, which are software designed to help other programmers build web functionality more quickly. Loren Lundgren's gems can be found at GemVein.com.
Loren enjoys making concoctions with essential oils, herbs, and crystals. They love crafts, especially the textile arts.
